Sri Lanka is a wonderful island off the southern tip of India. The island nation covers approximately 25,332 square miles (65,610 square kilometers) and is divided ecologically into a dry zone stretching from the north to the southeast and a wet zone in the south, west, and central regions. This contrast in rainfall combined with topographical differences has fostered the development of regional variation in economy and culture. Sri Lanka is a cultural heritage and because of that it has become an attractive island among the world .Most of the people around the world admires and loves the Sri Lankan culture.

SEA SIDE

Sri Lanka has over 1,600km (1,000 miles) of beautiful palm-shaded beaches, and Negombo - conveniently close to the international airport - boasts one of the best. Other popular resorts include Beruwela, Bentota, Mount Lavinia Negombo and Hikkaduwa. Meanwhile Unawatuna in Galle claims to be among the top 15 beaches in the world. The beaches of the south are less populated and often more beautiful, but be aware that swimming can be dangerous in many areas .Sri Lankan sea side carries the highest attention among tourists because it is the best place all over the world for realizing the maximum entertainment of plenty of enjoyable activities such as,

Hill Country

Hill country in Sri Lanka is roughly within the limits alone 1500” contour. This compact elevated mass rising rather abruptly but plateau. Like in such throughout the history of Sri Lanka especially against the European powers as the Portuguese. Dutch and the British who knew its value. Everything is green and lush and the landscape is elevated with layers of grassy knolls and jagged waterfalls with dense mountain forest clinging to the upper slopes. The days drift by in the hill country in Sri Lanka with not much to do but drink tea (in abundance) and absorb the serenity and breathtaking walks and views. There are several little towns that are certainly worth a visit, such as Nuwara Eliya. There are also some majestic feats of nature to explore, namely Worlds End and Adams Peak.
